A Hundred Gifts Given to the Agent Orange Victims in Xuan Loc District

Responding to “Day for Agent Orange Victims”, on August 4 morning, Dong Nai Red Cross in collaboration with its affiliate in Xuan Loc district paid a visit and granted gifts to Agent Orange Victims’ families across the district.

President of Dong Nai Red Cross, Mr. Vo Minh Quang accompanied by Xuan Loc Red Cross cadres pays a visit and gives present to Mrs. Nguyen Thi Cuc’ family (in Xuan truong commune), who has kid suffering Agent Orange.

    In addition to 50 gifts from the provincial Red Cross, affiliate in Xuan Loc raised 50 additional ones, each of which was worth VND300 including VND200 in cash and the rest in kind.

    As known, number of Agent Orange/dioxin Victims in the district is quite large, yet only the poorest 100 AO sufferers were chosen to be gifted this time, the rest would be granted until later this year.

    Visiting each family of Agent Orange/dioxin Victims, seeing how difficult they were, president Vo Minh Quang much encouraged them and hoped they could try their best to overcome the illness and difficulties in life.
