Bic C and P&G handle 2,900 gifts to the poor on Tet holiday 2011

Welcoming the Year of the Rabbit 2011, apart from attractive business plans in service of consumers on Tet holiday, Big C Supermarket system joined hands with P&G Vietnam to launch a series of activities to support the poor households in welcoming the upcoming Tet. The event is the part of the program “Warm Tet with sentimental attachment” which lasts from January 14 to January 28, 2011. 2,900 gifts will be directly handled to poor households in 14 locations all over the country, where Big C supermarkets are operating.

Handling gifts to the poor  

          Accordingly, the gifts are worth about VND270,000 each including such essential products as rice, cooking oil, MSG (monosodium glutamate), fish sauce, candies and cakes, sausage, Safeguard soup, Camay soup, Rejoice shampoo, Tide washing powder, and Oral B toothbrush, etc. Consumers can contribute to these gifts by buying any products of P&G (Tide, Downy, Rejoice, Pantene…) with a total cost of VND200,000 at Big C supermarkets. The remaining value of gifts will be sponsored by Big C and P&G Vietnam.
