Tree planting in rural areas program implemented by the Provincial Farmers' Association in 2023

The planting of scattered trees is mainly through the "Arbor Day" movement launched every year by localities and units in the province. The main types of trees grown include: Golden oak, gurjan, Nacre, hybrid acacia...

This contributes to the completion of the province's 2023 afforestation plan with an area of nearly 3.7 thousand hectares. Of which, new concentrated planting area is nearly 31 thousand hectares, while reforestation after exploitation area is more than 3.6 thousand hectares. The above results also help Dong Nai achieve the goal of planting 20 million trees of all types in the 2021-2025 period in association with the country's “Plant 1 billion trees in the 2021-2025 period" project. This is achieved thanks to the province's mobilization of the entire political system, organizations, households and individuals in the province to actively respond to the program.
