According to the Department of Industry and Trade, in 2017, the yarn and fiber export turnover of Dong Nai is over $ 1.4 billion, up nearly 24% over the previous year. This is one of the five key export items of the province with the turnover of over $ 1 billion. In the group of export items with turnover of over $ 1 billion, yarn and fiber is the one that has the highest growth.
Textile yarn and fibers of Dong Nai are exported to many markets in the world, but the biggest market is China (nearly $490 million), followed by South Korea ($173 million), India and Turkey. (nearly $110 million).
According to the Vietnam Textile and Garment Association, Dong Nai is one of the top provinces in the country in terms of fiber production. Enterprises in the province adopt modern machines in production so the demand for labor has decreased 60-70% compared to the previous years.
