On November 16th, Mr. Yoshiaki Tachikawa, Head of Saitama Business Administration Board (Japan) had a working session with Dong Nai Province to sign the memorandum to expand investment in the province.
Meeting with the delegation, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Tran Van Vinh said that Japan ranks third among the country and territories investing in Dong Nai with the capital of nearly $ 4 billion. Most Japanese businesses investing in the province have grown successful business. There are 2 industrial parks invested by Japan including: Loteco (Bien Hoa City) and Long Duc (Long Thanh District). Dong Nai is calling for investment in supporting industries, projects with advanced and environmentally friendly technologies.
According to Mr. Yoshiaki Tachikawa, many businesses from Saitama wish to expand their investment in supporting industry in Vietnam, especially in Dong Nai. In addition, the strength of those businesses is to build clean water supply system, logistics, technical infrastructure...
At the meeting, the two representatives of two provinces signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperatively supporting Saitama businesses operating in Dong Nai province or investing in the province. Mr. Yoshiaki Tachikawa also suggested opening a representative office open in Dong Nai in the coming time to support the expansion of investment in the province.
