In addition, the province also promotes socialization, mobilizes resources, especially enterprises for science and technology development. From 2016-2020, the province has mobilized more than VND29.4 billion from people and individuals as project managers, more than VND104.3 billion from businesses to invest in science and technology.
Up to now, the whole province has 4 science and technology enterprises, 6 enterprises with products achieving Vietnam National Brand; 41 enterprises have production and business activities in the field of high-tech industry. The application of 4.0 technology and being granted the high-tech enterprise certificate has enhanced the brand value, enhanced the prestige and quality of products and with customers. Enterprises that achieve high-tech certification affirm their advantages in production, business, finding partners, domestic and foreign orders.
The rate of enterprises applying quality management processes and productivity tools in the period 2016-2020 reached 84.9%, contributing to reducing unwanted costs in the production and business process of enterprises, improve the quantity and quality of products.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang, Vice Chairperson of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the potential of science and technology, especially human resources of science and technology, is the key factor for the development of science and technology in particular and the socio-economic of the province in general.
Up to now, the province has more than 3,300 people having post-graduate degrees. This team has been making many contributions to the economic growth, economic restructuring, creating a breakthrough in socio-economic development of the province, especially in the field of agricultural production, livestock and processing. At the same time, acting as the key driver in disseminating scientific and technical knowledge, helping farmers to access and apply advanced advances in production to increase income; participate in research and application of scientific and technological advances to production and life.
Regarding the issue of science and technology human resources, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Thi Gam, former Dean of the Faculty of Party Building and Ho Chi Minh Thought, National Academy of Politics Region II, Ho Chi Minh City, said that not only high-quality human resources in enterprises are important, but also high-quality human resources in the management team are also very important. In addition to human resources, in recent years, the province has also paid attention to invest in developing the potential of science and technology in the area. At the end of 2015, the province established the Technical Center for Standards, Metrology and Quality under the Department of Science and Technology. Since 2020, the Science and Technology Center established on the basis of merging 3 centers under the Department of Science and Technology. The center has been enhanced with equipment, meeting assigned functions and tasks, and is capable of carrying out inspection and testing criteria of quality, hygiene and safety in accordance with national technical regulations for groups of products and goods as prescribed.
To further improve the potential of science and technology in the province and bring the province's science and technology sector to develop in line with the general development of the province, according to Dr. Mai Thanh Phung, Vice President of the Vietnam Horticultural Association, Chairman of the Southern Horticultural Association, Dong Nai Science and Technology industry needs to look directly at reality to advise provincial leaders to make appropriate decisions.
