Meeting the delegation, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Tran Van Vinh said Dong Nai has a large amount of daily-life and industrial waste, which is up to thousands of tons. The province has planned 9 waste treatment areas in the province, but most of the waste is treated by burying method. The province is inviting businesses with modern waste treatment technologies to invest in waste treatment facilities to turn waste into electricity, fertilizers, fuel ... to reduce the burying rate to below 15%.
German businesses invest in 6 projects in Dong Nai with a total capital of nearly 160 million USD. Most German companies invest in the industry and possess modern machinery technology.
