From 19 to 25 November, the Provincial Farmers' Association had a business trip to Thailand to exchange experiences on effective agricultural production models.

Ms. Hoang Thi Bich Hang, Chairwoman of the Provincial Farmers Association led the delegation to Thailand to learn the experience in some agricultural markets and farm production.
The delegation comprised 30 people, including 22 outstanding farmers in Dong Nai. They visited Or Tor Kor market (Bangkok), then arrived in Ratchaburi province to study the orchid farm model.
The delegation had a chance to study the experience on growing orchids in general and vanda queen in particular from Mr. Lek Suanpheung, the owner of the Suanpheung Orchids. The export of orchid flowers to Japan and the Netherlands, with the average price of 50 euros / branch, brings in about 20 million baht / year (about 14 billion dong). In particular, the delegation also directly studied the model of growing vanda queen (a rare orchid) which has large and beautiful flowers. The export rate of this orchid to European and Japanese markets is up to 80-100 thousand baht / plant (about 56-70 million dong) ...
