On March 8, the Provincial People's Committee sent an express document to the Department of Health, the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Police, the People's Committee of Long Thanh district, and related departments and agencies on organizing the reception and quarantine of citizens returning from abroad to prevent epidemics.
With the approval of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial People's Committee approved the proposal of the Provincial Military Command to organize a new quarantine to receive 276 Vietnamese citizens (excluding children under 2 years old) from the UAE to Vietnam on flight VN68. This flight is expected to land at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Ho Chi Minh City at 5:45 am on March 10, 2021. These citizens will be quarantined at The People's Security University (campus 2), An Phuoc commune, Long Thanh District.
The Provincial People's Committee assigns the Department of Health, the Provincial Military Command, the People's Committee of Long Thanh province and relevant departments, agencies to organize the quarantine of citizens in accordance with regulations and guidelines on covid-19 prevention and control.
As of March 8, Dong Nai got 8 cases of Covid-19, all of which have been cured and discharged; perform more than 22.7 thousand samples. The total number of people concentrated quarantine at hospitals and quarantine facilities is more than 5.5 thousand; home and accommodation isolation more than 10.3 thousand cases.
