The provincial Confederation of Labor has issued a document to all levels of Trade Unions in the province guiding the organization of activities in response to the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2021.
Accordingly, the Provincial Confederation of Labor proposes trade unions at all levels in the province and units, enterprises and business depending on the conditions and actual situation to formulate plans and organize the launching ceremony or carry out specific and practical activities in response to the Action Month for Occupational Safety and Health but must ensure compliance with Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control as regulation, develop and publish publications and documents and warnings about prevention of labor accidents and occupational diseases. Provide guidance documents on OSH propaganda to units, businesses and employees; Developing quantity and improving the quality, efficiency activities of Occupational safety and hygiene officers; Continue to promote the Green-clean-beautiful environment, emulation movements, thereby promoting the participation of employers and employees in ensuring OSH; strengthening the coordination between departments, agencies in OSH training inspection, verification and supervision, focusing on a number of industries at risk of OSH loss such as construction, chemicals, welding…
The province will coordinate with the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs to organize the Action Month of OSH, and at the same time, inspect and verify interdisciplinary enterprises at high risk of occupational accidents and diseases. Organize visits to victims and their families of occupational accidents and diseases in difficult circumstances. The upper-level Trade Unions are based on the plan to direct trade unions to dialogue with business owners to listen to the desire and aspirations of employees related to Occupational Safety and Health in the workplace; praise workers who have labor accidents overcoming difficulties in production.
