According to Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority (DIZA), 31 operating industrial parks (IPs) have built concentrated wastewater treatment plants, with a combined capacity of 181,670 cubic meters a day and a total investment of around 2,139 billion dong. Of them, 30 IPs put their concentrated wastewater treatment plants into operation. As for Ong Keo IP (Nhon Trach District), it is going to put it into trial.

Currently, 31 IPs in Dong Nai generate a total of 127,747 cubic meters of waste water per day. In which, the amount of collected wastewater to treatment plants is 99,821 m3/day.night (about 78%), amount of licensed direct wastewater discharge is 27,902 m3/day/night (over 21%), remaining amount which are not connected is about 24 m3/day.night (accounting for 0.02%).
Basically, the infrastructure companies and investors in IPs comply with law on wastewater: investment in wastewater storage area, contracting with a unit having the function of wastewater treatment under process, automatic water monitoring installation prior to discharge into the environment.
