On March 5, Deputy Minister of Transport – Mr.Nguyen Ngoc Dong worked with leaders of Dong Nai province on the implementation of the Phan Thiet-Dau Giay expressway project to overcome difficulties and problems, speed up the construction of the project.

According to 4 localities: Xuan Loc, Cam My, Thong Nhat district and Long Khanh city where the project passes have to implement land acquisition, currently the land clearance and delivery to the construction unit of Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway has basically completed more than 90%. Particularly Long Khanh City has completed the land acquisition and assigned it to the investor. Currently, there are 27 households that have not received compensation, of which 11 households in Xuan Loc district, 12 households in Cam My and 4 households in Thong Nhat. Some households have complaints about the price and location of land for compensation. This is being resolved to complete the compensation for clearance soon. In addition, the localities that planned the leveling material mines for Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway also proposed the provinces and central governments to quickly solve the problems related to the licensing dossiers, prioritize shortening the time implement procedures to put land mines to tender because the land mines are used for the project.

In addition, the departments also requested the Ministry of Transport to support the approval and relocation of medium-voltage, lower-voltage, water and telecommunication power lines for construction.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister of Transport - Mr.Nguyen Ngoc Dong noted that Dong Nai tries to complete the compensation and clearance in March 2021, to hand over the premises to the construction unit. For claimants who do not receive compensation, mobilize them to agree, enforce if they disagree. The Ministry of Transport will propose the Government promptly resolve the problems related to the policy to support Dong Nai to implement the compensation and relocation of technical infrastructure affected by the project implementation.

Working with the delegation, Vice Chairman of The Provincial People's Committee –Mr.Vo Tan Duc said that Dong Nai would complete the compensation and clearance for Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway in March 2021 and in May 2021, relocate electricity, water, and telecommunication projects located in the project area. The leader’s province expects that the construction unit will quickly construct the project to facilitate the people in the area.
