Prepare to welcome and quarantine 372 citizens returning from Taiwan

​Receiving people returning from abroad in the isolation area of the People's Security University grassroots 2 previous times.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Health to assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with the Provincial Military Command, related departments, sectors, and units, People's Security University, People's Committee of Long Thanh district to organize the reception of 372 employees. Vietnamese people (excluding children under 2 years old) from Taiwan to Vietnam on 2 flights BL 141 (carrying 186 citizens) and BL 1163 (carrying 186 citizens) landed at Tan Son Nhat airport in the afternoon of the day 31-3. The isolated location is at the People's Security University (campus 2), located in An Phuoc commune, Long Thanh district.

Relevant departments, branches and units, based on their functions, duties and authority, coordinate with the Department of Health to organize the reception of isolation to ensure the conditions and regulations on the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic.

• Information from the Department of Health, as of March 30, the whole province had 22 cases of Covid-19 infection. Of which, 9 cases were cured, after 14 days of follow-up. The remaining 13 cases are continuing to be monitored and treated at Dong Nai Lung Hospital (including 10 people who had 3 consecutive negative results for SARS-CoV-2, transferred to the isolated monitoring area for 14 days, all of these cases continued to have negative results for times 1, 2 for SARS-CoV-2; and 3 cases in the treatment area also had second negative results for SARS-CoV-2).

In addition, there are 136 other cases of centralized isolation at Dong Nai Lung Hospital, isolation center at Thanh Phu campus, Dong Nai Medical College, Ma Da Guest House, Xuan Dai Thang Hotel, Thanh Phat Hotel, Dormitory of Pousung Vietnam Company Limited. The quarantine is those who are F1, who come from a foreign epidemic zone.
