Reporting at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hung, Deputy Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment said that these two quarries were licensed by the Provincial People's Committee for investment. The time to license mines is not in the case where the auction of land use rights or mineral exploitation rights is required. However, Conclusion No. 320 / KTN-TH of the State Audit pointed out, Thien Tan 10 quarry has not auctioned mining rights. Tan Cang 8 quarry still has some contents related to the expansion of the scale, increasing the depth, and extending the time, not yet unified.
On the basis of comments from departments, branches and localities, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Phi directed the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the investor to complete legal procedures according to the Mineral Law to send to the Ministry Resources - Environment for opinions on Thien Tan quarry 10. The province's policy is not to re-auction land use rights, mineral mining rights on the licensed project in accordance with the procedures, procedures and being exploited. Particularly, Tan Cang 8 quarry, the Department of Planning and Investment, advise to handle according to its competence, not to auction the right to re-exploit, but only to auction the expansion of the scale.
Provincial leaders also asked the investor to ensure environmental sanitation, traffic safety and perform the obligation to repair the road around the mining and mineral transportation area. The Department of Natural Resources and Environment regularly monitors, inspects and handles problems related to the environment and natural resources; solutions to protect the environment in the mineral exploitation area.
