According to Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority, in the first two months of this year, foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises in industrial zones in the province have invested more than $ 1.66 billion in production and business, an increase of $ 426 million compared to the same period in 2020. Therefore, the total revenue of FDI enterprises in industrial zones reached nearly 3.66 billion USD, up 31% (equivalent to 873 million USD) compared to the same period last year.
Goods produced by FDI enterprises, about 40% are consumed in the domestic market and 60% are exported to countries around the world. From the beginning of the year until now, FDI enterprises have tended to increase goods for domestic consumption. Revenue increased so FDI enterprises contributed nearly 157.4 million USD to the budget.
