Dong Nai plans to plan more 12 industrial clusters

Recently, districts and cities have proposed the province in the land using plan for the period of 2021-2030, adding about 12 industrial clusters to meet the needs of small and medium enterprises in the province. According to the land use plan up to 2020, the province has 27 industrial clusters with an area of 1,600 ha. If the province approves to add more industrial clusters, there will be about 651ha more. At the same time, localities in the province also proposed to cancel 3 clusters with an area of 132 ha. Thus, by 2030, the province may plan 36 industrial clusters with an area of nearly 2,052ha.

In reality, the investment in industrial clusters is ineffective, many clusters have been planned for a long time but have not been implemented, such as industrial clusters Vinh Tan, Thanh Binh, Tri An, An Vien, Phuoc Binh, Tam An, … Therefore, the Provincial People's Committee requested localities to review the addition of industrial clusters to ensure feasibility and effective land use.
