To explore the potential of the land bank in the Dong Nai river corridor, now the province has also planned and implemented projects along two river banks, especially the section running through Bien Hoa urban area. Accordingly, currently in Bien Hoa city is implementing 3 projects to build roads and parks along two banks of Dong Nai river, including: construction of embankments, roads and parks along Dong Nai river, from Hoa An bridge to the border with Vinh Cuu district; roads and parks along Dong Nai river from Hoa An bridge to Binh Duong province and from Hoa An bridge to Ghenh bridge. It can be seen that the projects deployed along the two sides of the Dong Nai River now have the first goal of creating an urban landscape space, creating spaces for community activities for the people. Along with that, Dong Nai is also planning to exploit the potential of the land fund behind these spaces for the community.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Cao Tien Dung said, in Bien Hoa City, there are two plans on the banks of the Dong Nai River to implement projects to build embankments and parks along the river banks. Deep inside these projects, Dong Nai has also oriented the planning of high-rise projects, large commercial and service areas to maximize the landscape of the Dong Nai River. "The most beautiful landscapes along the two river banks, from the point of view of the province, are common and must be enjoyed by all people" - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Cao Tien Dung emphasized.

Mr. Ly Thanh Phuong, Chairman of the Provincial Association of Architects, said that the priority of development in front of the park system along Dong Nai river is "key" and needs to be deployed soon. Dong Nai River plays a huge role in providing water for the daily life of tens of millions of people. Therefore, early development of the system of parks along the river is of great significance to the protection of the environment and water sources of Dong Nai river. That will be the green lungs that "filter" the air. More importantly, the park line along the river will limit the source of wastewater, waste in the process of living and production is discharged directly into the Dong Nai River. “All residential areas along the river have houses turning their back on the river, so domestic waste is discharged directly into the river, so the risk of water pollution is high. In addition to the meaning of environmental protection, the development of the park along the Dong Nai River will also create many other meanings for the landscape and community living space for Bien Hoa urban area.

Not only in the inner city area, the strip of Dong Nai riverside corridor in the southern area of Bien Hoa city extending to the districts of Long Thanh and Nhon Trach is also being planned by Dong Nai to create landscape space of these riverside towns.

Creating urban accents with islets

Not only leaving a strip of riverside corridors with many potentials, the Dong Nai river also "leaves" for Dong Nai isles on the river, which are known as "golden positions" in urban development such as Hiep Hoa Island. and Ba Xe Islet in Bien Hoa City and Ong Con Island, Nhon Trach Island.

Among these, Ong Con islet has been invested to become an eco-tourism area and a remarkable highlight of Nhon Trach new urban area.

For Hiep Hoa isle, the area known as the "golden land" of Bien Hoa urban area is also being completed by the planning of Dong Nai to "turn" this place into a highlight of Bien Hoa urban area.
