Dong Nai lease forest land for safari

       Natural forest in Dong Nai Nature-Cultural Reserve. 

According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the forest environment lease in Ma Da commune (Vinh Cuu district) for the safari area is being completed for the signing of the contract. Project scale is nearly 413ha in production forest planning area. Current status of forest and forestry land in the project area has nearly 397ha of forested land, including natural forest of more than 362ha; plantation forest is over 34ha; the area of land without forest is nearly 16ha. The above forest land area has been allocated to Dong Nai Nature-Cultural Reserve for management.

According to Conclusion Notice No. 9449 / TB-UBND dated August 11, 2020 of Dong Nai People's Committee about announcement of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Cao Tien Dung after listening to the report of investment projects of Vuon Xoai Ecotourism Co., Ltd, directed the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to review the boundaries and area of land use right certificate for Dong Nai Nature-Cultural Reserve for the aforesaid land area, as a basis for leasing the forest environment to invest in safari development. Currently, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment has issued a certificate of land use rights to the Reserve. Before signing a forest environment leasing contract, Dong Nai Nature-Cultural Reserve must make an inventory of forest resources on the leased area to serve as a basis for lease and monitoring and evaluation of contract performance.
