According to the Department
of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs, implementing the Resolution No.
68/NQ-CP and the Decision No. 23/2021/QD-TTG on the implementation of some
policies to support employees and employers facing difficulties due to the Covid-19
pandemic in the province, by December 14, the Provincial People's Committees
and People's Committees of districts and cities have approved more than
VND2,827 billion to support the beneficiaries in the policy, accordingly, over
VND 2,707 billion has been transferred to them.
Jobless freelancers receive the
financial support in Vinh An Town, Vinh Cuu District.
The
beneficiaries include the employees suspending the Labor contracts and taking
unpaid leave due to the pandemic. Support the people who have stopped working,
the workers who have terminated the labor contracts and not been eligible for
being covered by the Unemployment Insurance, children and people being treated
for Covid-19, medical quarantine (F0 and F1), officials in artistic activities; tour
guides; business households and employers to borrow capital to pay wages for
work stoppage, pay wages to restore production; support employees
who do not have labor contracts (freelancers)
who lose their jobs and other specific subjects. In addition, 9,471 companies
who have 703,000 employees have been reduced the contributions for The
Occupational Accident and Disease Insurance Fund; employees and employers will
be supported in temporarily suspending contributions to The Retirement and
Survivorship Fund for 40 enterprises with nearly 15,000 employees, totaling
over VND91 billion.
