On December 23, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Linh, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Cao Tien Dung and representatives of leaders of departments and sectors of the province had a meeting and worked with the delegation of Singaporean Consulate General led by Mr. Kho Ngee Seng Roy - Consul General of Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City.

At the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Linh informed the delegation about the socio-economic situation of the province, the situation of attracting foreign investment capital in Dong Nai Province. Up to now, the province has 84 Singaporean projects with a total investment capital of more than US$3.5 billion, ranking 5th in foreign investment in the province.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also shared that Dong Nai always considers Singaporean investors as strategic partners of the province and the province has been always ready to support and create favorable conditions for Singaporean investors now and in the future. Currently, the province is attracting investment in the fields of high-tech industry, technology 4.0, high-tech agriculture, large-scale aviation service projects serving Long Thanh International Airport, projects for human development goals such as education, health care, urban drainage, urban environment, etc.

Leaders of the Provincial Party Committee also expressed their desire to further strengthen economic development cooperation and cultural exchange between Dong Nai Province and Singapore and hoped that, through Mr. Consul General, he would continue to act as a bridge to actively connect and invite Singaporean investors to Dong Nai to make investment in the near future. At the same time, promoting the cooperation relationship between Dong Nai Province and Singapore's partners and localities will be increasingly linked, stronger and deeper.

Mr. Kho Ngee Seng Roy - Consul General of Singapore said that Vietnam in general and Dong Nai in particular are attractive, ideal and new destinations for Singaporean investors. According to a survey, the Singaporean investors highly appreciate the investment environment in Vietnam. Currently, Singapore has strengths in education, water management, urban planning, environmental protection and fighting against the climate change. In his role of a Consul General, he will continue to act as a bridge to introduce Singaporean investors and businesses come to invest in the areas that Dong Nai province is prioritizing to attract.
