Nestlé Vietnam donates VND4 billion to the COVID-19 vaccine Fund in 3 provinces

Responding to the Government's call, Nestlé Vietnam and La Vie company (under Nestlé Group) donated VND4 billion to the Covid-19 Vaccine Fund in provinces of Dong Nai, Hung Yen, and Long An in order to join hands to contribute to the whole country fighting against the epidemic.

Since the pandemic broke out in early 2020, Nestlé in Vietnam has actively supported the Government's pandemic prevention activities with a total value of up to VND47 billion.

Mr. Binu Jacob, General Director of Nestlé Vietnam said: “By supporting the Covid-19 Vaccine Fund, we would like to express continuously our trust and commitment to always accompany the Government, the local communities where we are doing business to fight against the pandemic, continuing with the goals of sustainable development.

In the past May and June, Nestlé Vietnam has also accompanied with partners to support the two provinces of Bac Ninh and Bac Giang in pandemic prevention with a total amount of nearly VND860 million. During the 4th outbreak, the company donated nearly 182,000 nutritional food and beverage products with a total value of VND3.82 billion.

The company also always strictly implements epidemic prevention and control measures under the directions of the Vietnamese Government and the Ministry of Health, disseminating regulations on epidemic prevention and control to all employees of the company such as: wearing masks, disinfecting hands, measuring body temperature before entering the company; keeping the safe distance, giving priority to the online meetings, increase distance in production areas, installing partition walls, panels for epidemic prevention.
