More than 1.5 million people have been vaccinated with 2 doses of Covid-19 vaccine

​The Covid-19 patient is being cared for and treated at the No. 7 field hospital.

Until now, Dong Nai province has used more than 4.1 million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine to give the first injection to more than 2.6 million people aged 18 and over. Among them, more than 1.5 million people have received the full two doses, reaching 61.9%. Currently, there are 202 thousand doses of the vaccine being injected by localities. 

Some localities have a high rate of second dose vaccination such as Vinh Cuu (84.1%), Nhon Trach (81.6%), Bien Hoa (77.3%). The remaining localities all achieved a rate below the average rate of the whole province. The lowest was Tan Phu District, which only reached 20.1%.

The leader of the Department of Health suggested that localities and vaccination units further accelerate the vaccination rate to soon achieve the goal of 100% of people in the province receiving full doses of the Covid-19 vaccine. At the same time, strengthen control of infection sources at high-risk points such as people's markets, supermarkets, production facilities, Industrial Zones, and hostels.
