Mobilizing businesses to buy vaccines to prevent epidemics for workers

According to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the 4th wave of the Covid-19 epidemic is happening very complicatedly and unpredictably, has broken out and spread quickly among workers, especially some enterprises and industrial parks with a large concentration of workers. Up to now, the whole country has had thousands of positive cases of Sars-Cov-2, thousands of F1 cases, tens of thousands of F2 cases are workers. This number is still increasing day by day. Tens of businesses have had to suspend operations, hundreds of thousands of employees have had to quit or lose their jobs due to isolation, being in a blockade area or because businesses have stopped operating.

Following the direction of the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Government and the Prime Minister on the strategy of buying vaccines and mobilizing all resources in the society so that people can access vaccines as quickly as possible in order to control the epidemic and realize the dual goal to develop the country... The General Confederation of Labor of Vietnam and the Standing Board of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry call and recommend enterprises, production and business establishments in the whole country to be interested in spending money to buy disease prevention vaccines for workers to ensure disease control, soon return businesses to normal operation, avoid disrupting the supply chain, production and recovery economy. The grassroots trade unions at the enterprises based on the existing financial resources, participates in supporting part of the funding together with the enterprise to buy vaccines to promptly vaccinate employees against the epidemic.

Along with that, businesses participate in supporting and sponsoring the vaccine fund for disease prevention, joining hands for Million doses of vaccines for poor workers and texting to support the vaccine program for workers. The effective participation of enterprises for the health of workers, for the safety and sustainable development of enterprises.​
