Focus on deploying credit packages to support businesses

According to representatives of many commercial banks in the province, in the coming time, banks will continue to review and develop plans to extend debt, reduce loan interest rates, etc according to regulations for customers and businesses affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, especially small and medium enterprises, enterprises operating in the fields of import and export, agriculture, tourism, transportation ...

A representative of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) Bien Hoa branch shared that in the coming time, the branch will actively update new circulars and regulations on credit support packages for businesses, in which the branch will continue to implement solutions to remove difficulties for customers affected by the Covid-19 epidemic in accordance with the guidelines and regulations of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV).

Mr Pham Quoc Bao, Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Dong Nai branch said that in the coming time, the unit will continue to closely monitor the situation in the area, strengthen the implementation of epidemic prevention and control measures and take measures to direct credit institutions in the province to promptly support customers affected by the epidemic in order to contribute to minimizing damage caused by the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic.

Especially, when Circular 03/2021/TT-NHNN of the State Bank of Vietnam comes into effect, the unit will strengthen the review and ensure the target of supporting right people, not to take advantage of the profit policy, cause risks to the system of credit institutions. At the same time, continue to create conditions and contribute to suppor businesses and people to overcome difficulties and impacts from the Covid-19 epidemic...

Improve the quality of the business environment

Credit support is an urgent requirement, but it is not a long-term goal that businesses want. The problem is that along with the immediate support, the business community needs stronger commitments to the business environment, this is a long-term, sustainable solution to help businesses to develop.

Mr Dang Van Diem, Chairman of Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs Association shared, from the joint efforts of the business community and support from the State, over the past time, production and business of the economy as well as each enterprise can survive and overcome challenges.

This stage is the time to demonstrate the capacity and bravery of the enterprise before the next difficulties that may come. In addition to solutions from the State, when overcoming difficulties in the first stage, the improvisation of enterprises also have more experience. In terms of administration, Mr Diem believes that the locality will continue to take measures to support the business community.

Along with the efforts of enterprises, provincial leaders affirms that they will continue to remove bottlenecks hindering development, strongly reform administrative procedures, and improve the investment environment. In particular, the responsibility of the departments and branches is to regularly review the mechanisms, policies and regulations of the law, especially in the fields of tax, land, construction investment, trade ... In the next long time, the province will promote economic restructuring in association with innovating the growth model, improving productivity and quality, and expanding import and export markets for local goods.
