Regarding the information that the case of F0 came to Big C Tan Hiep (Bien Hoa City) on May 30 is spreading on social networks, PhD Dr Phan Huy Anh Vu, Director of the Department of Health, Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control said that the above information was incorrect.

Measure body temperature for all people entering Big C Tan Hiep supermarket.

Specifically, Mrs T.T.T (who came to Big C Tan Hiep at 13:30 to 13:30 on May 30) is a person who lives with her daughter in Ho Chi Minh City. Ms T.'s daughter contacted with a Covid-19 case, so she was isolated at home, until the evening of May 30, Mrs T.’ daughter tested positive for Covid-19.

Thus, at the time of going to Big C Tan Hiep in the early afternoon of May 30, Mrs T was considered an F2 object. Mrs T contacted with her husband, so her husband was a subject to F3. By the evening of May 30, when her daughter tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 (this person was in Ho Chi Minh City, did not return to Dong Nai, so she recorded in Ho Chi Minh City case), Mrs T was classified as one of the patients representing F1, her husband was F2. After about 30 minutes at the supermarket, Mrs T returned to Ho Chi Minh City, so only her husband (F2) is in Bien Hoa City now.

Bien Hoa City Medical Center investigated and isolated F2 subjects including Mrs T's family and supermarket staffs, disinfected related areas...

Leaders of the Department of Health recommend that people should stay calm, received official informations, not be too confused and worried. At the same time, strictly implemented protective measures, especially wearing masks in public places, workplaces, limited contacts, did not gather in crowds when not really necessary.
