Large-scale & modern Shrimp Feed Factory in Dong Nai

Web Portal - On December 22 morning, Minister of Agriculture - Rural Development (MARD) Nguyen Xuan Cuong and his delegation visited the GROWMAX Aquafeed Company Limited production factory in Loc An Industrial Park (Binh Son Commune, Long Thanh District).

Minister of MARD Nguyen Xuan Cuong highly appreciated that for the first time, an enterprise with 100% Vietnamese capital invested in a shrimp feed factory with the most modern technology in Vietnam on a large scale and created competitive products in the market - which has historically been dominated by corporations and enterprises with foreign investment. The Minister also appreciated GROWMAX Aquafeed Company Limited for building a closed model including feed production - seed/breeders - supplementary products and environmental treatment - local demonstration farms - technical support, technology for farmers, etc.

GROWMAX factory was started construction in June 2020, covers an area of 35,000m2 with modern production lines imported from Taiwan, using automation technology including 10 lines with a capacity of 230 thousand tons per year. Currently, the factory has completed its phase I construction and officially went into production from the end of November 2020. The company’s products have been circulated nationwide and are expected to serve export plans in 2021.

In addition to investing in shrimp feed processing factories, this company intends to invest in demonstration shrimp farms in Dong Nai and many other localities; and build a close link from feed production to seed supply and technical support to shrimp farmers.
