Entry Settlement for over 2,200 Overseas People to Dong Nai

Web Portal - From 15/5/2020 to 15/12/2020, the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) approved the policy for 2,240 entries including 2,100 foreign experts, managers, high-tech workers who belong to 707 enterprises, mainly of Chinese, Chinese (Taiwanese), Korean, Japanese and several other nationalities (of which, 1,858 people belong to 656 enterprises in IPs and 242 people from 51 enterprises outside IPs; 118 foreigners who are relatives of foreign experts, managers, high-tech workers); 9 Lao students who enter for study at universities & colleges in Dong Nai, and some other subjects are allowed entry according to regulations.


In addition, the PPC has implemented the protection of Vietnamese citizens abroad and sent documents to the Vietnamese embassies in other countries to request consideration and support for 13 Dong Nai citizens to return to their home country, of which, in Japan (6 people), Singapore (4 people), Australia (1 person), Russia (1 person), the US (1 person).

It is known that the policy of allowing foreigners to enter Dong Nai is the implementation of the Government’s Resolution No. 84/NQ-CP of 29/5/2020 on tasks and solutions for dealing with difficulties in business operations, promoting disbursement in public investment and ensuring public order and safety during COVID-19 epidemic, and conclusions of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc in Regular Government’s Meeting on COVID-19 epidemic management. The PPC has also thoroughly grasped and directed relevant departments, branches to create favorable conditions for experts, business managers, investors, high-tech workers and their families to enter Vietnam to work in Dong Nai and to maintain business and production activities of enterprises. Departments and branches have coordinated to advise the PPC to resolve entry to the right subjects, right needs and purposes of labor use while ensuring strict implementation of epidemic prevention and control requirements in accordance with the directions of Prime Minister and the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.
