Currently, countries around the world and from major cities in the country have promoted cultural "soft power". For Dong Nai Province, the good exploitation and development of these "gold mines", in addition to making a positive contribution to the economy, promoting the image of the homeland and the country, also contributes to bringing the culture to the world.

Diversity of cultural industry products

Industrial products include: Advertising, architecture, handicrafts, movies, printing and publishing, music, performing arts, etc. These products, once brought out of local and national borders, will not simply be the ordinary cultural products and goods, but also symbols and images showing the "soft power" of culture in international exchange and integration.

In Dong Nai in recent years, cultural industry is also a relatively new concept, and rarely be mentioned. However, a number of products in this field have initially received investment, especially investment in tourism development and cultural products for tourism and services. In the first quarter of 2022 alone, the total number of visitors to visit and stay in the province reached over 581,000 (of which more than 19,000 international visitors who are foreign experts working in Vietnam, and more than 561 thousand domestic visitors), increasing 5.6% over the same period in 2021. Revenue from tourism services reached VND264 billion, up 7.3% over the same period.

In addition, many cultural industry products are highly appreciated such as: Bien Hoa ceramics, handicrafts in some localities are registered trademarks and already access the market. Various types of performing arts, fine arts, photography, etc. have been used for exchange and foreign relations activities; or effectively exploit a number of large-scale events in the field of cultural literature such as: Cherry blossom festival; cultural exchange, experience drawing Indonesian traditional batik; handicraft product design contest; Vietnam - Thailand food and shopping fair. Along with that, many public cultural spaces have been invested, leaving an impression in the hearts of people and visitors.

Exploiting and developing…

According to MSc. Phan Dinh Dung, lecturer at Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture, Dong Nai currently has many public cultural spaces that have been embellished with green landscapes, surrounded by lakes and rivers with modern planning, in line with development trends, meeting the aesthetic of a civilized city. In particular, the highlight is the space of Nguyen Van Tri pedestrian street, which revolves around this space axis with many events and activities taking place, turning the Dong Nai riverbank into an ideal sightseeing and viewing destination.

With its own unique landscapes and intrinsic values, Dong Nai is capable of exploiting and well developing cultural products. Although it has not really been shaped clearly and to exploit from the perspective of cultural literature, there is still a long way to go, but it is clear that the movements of the fields show the shadow of cultural literature. Currently, Dong Nai has been promoting digital transformation, strongly applying 4.0 technology to promote the image of Dong Nai land, culture and people becoming more and more attractive to domestic and international tourists.
