Representative of Dong Nai Nature - Culture Reserve said according to the Decision No. 1527/QD-UBND dated May 10, 2021 of the People's Committee of Dong Nai Province on approving the Sustainable Forest Management Plan for the period from 2021 to 2030 of Dong Nai Nature - Culture Reserve, the funding source will be allocated to serve the work of forest development and restoration of natural ecosystems by maintaining the natural forests is more than VND40.6 billion. The total forest area planned to implement the program is more than 5.8 thousand hectares.
Accordingly, the aforementioned volume and funding sources will be allocated to implement specific programs and plans, including: the program to restore the forest area contaminated with toxic chemicals in Dong Nai Province with a scale of more than 2,5 thousand hectares, the budget is more than VND18 billion; the plan to plant and restore indigenous large timber forests in the War Zone D with the implementation scale of about 3 thousand hectares, with a cost of nearly VND21 billion and the plan to nurture the production forest as a natural forest with a scale of more than 281 hectares cost more than VND1.6 billion.
