Businesses need companionship and support
Chairman of Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs Association Dang Van Diem said that despite difficulties, the business community still believes in the ability to recover and develop, especially when it is determined to live together and safely with the epidemic. In the recovery process of enterprises, it is still necessary to join hands and support from the State and authorities at all levels.
In order to support the business community in the province, over the past time, Dong Nai has closely followed the general policy of the Government, ministries and branches, thereby implementing support programs ranging from tax exemption and reduction to creating new favorable environment for trade facilitation. At the same time, the province organizes vaccination against Covid-19 for employees, considering this as a priority object, so businesses are also somewhat more confident. Up to now, Dong Nai basically has covered all of the 2nd dose vaccine for workers.
Most recently, in order to promote online businesses, the Department of Industry and Trade has launched the Dong Nai E-commerce Exchange. The website will be a place to help traders and manufacturers cut down the cost of intermediaries, increase the number of products, goods and services sold on the market; expand the market to consume goods and services with modern business methods that are not restricted in terms of time and space.
In fact, except for force majeure reasons that have to suspend production for a while, businesses in the province in general have been proactive in many plans to respond to the Covid-19 pandemic by flexibly organizing production which is suitable to the conditions and evolution of the epidemic in each specific period. Many enterprises have export orders but cannot produce in time, flexibly transferring export orders to enterprises in other provinces and cities. In addition, enterprises also actively find domestic sources of raw materials to meet a part of production and export.
Lien Khanh Company Limited is a wood production enterprise in Long Khanh City, the company's employees in recent years have always been provided with stable jobs by the leadership, even during the stressful time of the epidemic. Thanks to previous orders, businesses have organized "3 on-site" production, taking advantage of the time to make inventory so that when the social distancing is eased, they can return to production in the most concentrated way to meet the needs of customers’ demand. Like all other companies, Lien Khanh Company Limited is very much looking forward to the end of the pandemic so that businesses no longer have to worry about supply disruptions and long-term stable production.
Similarly, Nam Long Co., Ltd. is one of the largest rubber glove manufacturers in Vietnam. In addition to domestic supply, Nam Long Co. also exports goods to 8 foreign markets, of which Korea is the key importer. Mr. Le Bach Long, director of the company, said that most of the enterprises' raw materials are rubber exploited in the province. The company will continue to produce some more synthetic rubber products to further meet the market's needs.
According to Dong Nai Statistics Office, despite difficulties, private enterprises operating in the province also invest a lot of capital into production. From the beginning of the year to December 15, the total registered capital for establishing new enterprises and supplementing capital is over VND93.2 trillion, up 7.4% compared to 2020. Among them, there are more than 2,900 of newly established enterprises with a total capital of more than VND56.5 trillion and 946 enterprises increased capital with an additional capital of more than VND36.7 trillion. In the midst of many difficulties, these figures demonstrate the trust and long-term plans of many enterprises in the coming time.
