The reason for the increase is that the forest area is up to the harvest period, so the unit has planted new trees on the harvested areas to ensure supply for the market. Exploiting timber and forest products ensures the maintenance and development of the forest. Afforestation Yards carry out the full exploitation and thinning of large trees to ensure the density of forest trees. Total wood production in the whole year reached nearly 293,000m3, increasing nearly 5.4% over the same period.

The forestry sector is continuing to focus on developing a number of projects and projects on forest use and development such as: Project on forest and forestry land contract; pilot project on afforestation model adapting to climate change; project on pricing of forests for special-use, protection and production in the province.
