Drastical implementation to speed up key projects

According to the report of the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, for key projects in the province, currently, there are 5 projects conmenced to be implemented, including: construction of Huong Lo 2 (section 1 - state 1); Vam Cai Sut Bridge; expanding, renovating and embellishing the relic of Nguyen Huu Canh temple in Bien Hoa city; upgrading provincial road 763 in the area of ​​Xuan Loc and Dinh Quan districts; improving and upgrading provincial road 768, section from Thu Bien overpass to intersection with provincial road 767, Vinh Cuu district. For these projects, although they have been started, the construction process is currently facing difficulties due to the incomplete clearance work.

For the remaining projects, including: building the central trunk of Bien Hoa city (Thong Nhat bridge and the road leading 2 bridge ends); the road along Cai river (from Ha Huy Giap street to Tran Quoc Toan street); the road along Dong Nai river from Hoa An bridge to Binh Duong province and from Hoa An bridge to Ghenh bridge; The road connecting to Phuoc An port (from the intersection of Road 319 to the intersection with Ben Luc-Long Thanh Expressway) is currently implementing investment procedures for the project. In which, 2 projects on the central road of Bien Hoa city and the road along Cai river are expected to start construction in late 2021 and early 2022.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Cao Tien Dung said that although localities and related units have made efforts, the implementation of key projects has not yet achieved specific results. Therefore, in the coming time, the units must focus on implementing projects, assigning people to be in charge, and being directly responsible for the progress of each project. They must promtply report to the People's Committee for quick resolution of arising problems.

Bien Hoa city alone is home to many key projects, it is necessary to focus on completing the site clearance for 2 projects to build Huong Lo 2 road and Vam Cai Sut bridge. At the same time, it is necessary to focus on the rapid construction of resettlement areas, because without resettlement areas, projects cannot be implemented. In the work of site clearance, it is necessary to pay quickly compensation and support to the people.
