​Dong Nai increases production of plywood, sawn timber, and veneer by 11%

In the first three quarters of 2022, enterprises and timber production facilities in Dong Nai have produced nearly 710 thousand m3 of plywood, sawn timber, and veneer, an increase of more than 11% over the same period last year. Plywood, sawn timber, and veneer products are supplied by businesses and establishments to the domestic market and exported to many countries around the world.

According to the Vietnam Timber and Forest Products Association, Dong Nai is in the top 5 of the leading provinces and cities in the country in producing raw wood and wood products. In the 9 months of 2022, Dong Nai enterprises exported more than USD 1.5 billion of wood products, up nearly 5.3% over the same period last year. Wood is Dong Nai's third largest export value after footwear, machinery, equipment, and spare parts. The area with many enterprises producing all kinds of plywood, sawn timber, veneer is Trang Bom district, Bien Hoa city.
