Anti-pandemic regulations for immigrant people entering Dong Nai Province

The Department of Health has just issued a document regulating the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic for immigrant people in Dong Nai Province.

Accordingly, people immigrated by air must have negative test results for SARS-CoV-2 (except for children under 2 years old) before departure within 72 hours if using RT-PCR method or within 24 hours for rapid test, it will be certified by the competent authority of the country performing the test.

For people entering by roadway, waterway or railway, they must test negative for SARS-CoV-2. In case there is no negative test result, SARS-CoV-2 test must be performed within the first 24 hours by RT-PCR method or rapid test since immigration. If the test results are negative, they are allowed to leave the accommodation and take measures to prevent and control the pandemic as prescribed. If the result is positive, they must immediately notify the local health department for instructions on responding timely.

 

Immigrant people must make a health declaration before entering and use the PC-Covid health declaration application during their stay in Vietnam. At the border gate, if there are symptoms of respiratory disease, they must immediately report to the nearest medical facility.

 

Those who have not tested negative for Covid-19 before leaving the country, during the process of moving from the border gate of entry to the place of residence, they should limit stopping and parking along the road, avoiding closing contact with people around.

 

Children under 2 years old are not required to be tested for SARS-CoV-2, even if having not been vaccinated against Covid-19 or have never been infected with Covid-19 are allowed to enter and participate in activities outside the accommodation with their parents as well as a relative.

 

People entering Dong Nai province need to self-monitor their health for the first 10 days. If you have unusual symptoms, you must immediately notify the nearest medical facility for instructions on handling.
