According to the Provincial Compensation, Site Clearance and Resettlement Support Project Management Board, for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway project phase 1, up to now, the work of counting land and assets on land has been carried out. In both component projects, the rate has reached nearly 92%. The remaining cases are mainly cases where the land owner has not been identified to carry out counting work.

Regarding the disbursement of capital allocated for site clearance work, as of the end of December 2023, relevant units have approved compensation plans and support of more than 277 billion VND, of which, has paid more than 173 billion VND to households and organizations.

The Provincial Compensation, Site Clearance and Resettlement Support Project Management Board requested the People's Committee of Bien Hoa City and the People's Committee of Long Thanh City to direct the People's Committees of communes and wards to urgently complete the work of confirming land origin. At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee considers and assigns relevant departments and sectors to advise the Provincial People's Committee to specifically identify resettlement areas to relocate households subject to resettlement arrangements for localities to consider resettlement, as a basis for approving compensation and land acquisition plans.

Regarding resettlement arrangements for households in the project area of 2 traffic routes connecting Long Thanh airport, according to Long Thanh district, the current difficulty is that the Loc An - Binh Son resettlement area has run out of minimum resettlement land (80m2 per lot) to arrange resettlement for household resettlement slots under the T2 road project.

At the end of the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Phi requested that the Provincial Compensation, Site Clearance and Resettlement Support Project Management Board continue to provide compensation and support plans to approved cases. The site must be handed over to the investor to serve the project construction work as soon as the compensation is handed out. At the same time, develop regulations to coordinate with relevant localities and units to carry out tasks synchronously.

Relevant units also need to quickly complete the acquisition and handover of public land areas, river and stream traffic land, and rubber land to investors.

Regarding resettlement arrangements for households on route T2, Long Thanh district coordinates with the Department of Construction to review regulations to advise the Provincial People's Committee on implementation plans.
