Nai Customs has just commended 10 businesses that pay the largest amount to the
state budget in the field of import and export in Dong Nai in 2023. These
enterprises have paid over 4.3 trillion VND in import-export tax to the state
budget.

According to statistics from the Dong Nai Customs, in 2023, the province's total state budget revenue from the import-export sector was about 19 trillion VND, equal to 83% of the assigned target. The reason why state budget revenues did not meet the target is due to the general difficult economic situation worldwide. Businesses lack orders, affecting the maintenance of business operations. However, overcoming difficult barriers, most businesses and corporations in their management areas comply well with the law, closely coordinating with customs authorities to enforce state policies and regulations on customs field. Among them, there are businesses that still maintain stable operations, contributing to the state budget in the field of import and export.
Also ranked in the top 10 for paying the highest import-export tax in Dong Nai in 2023 are two businesses, including: Hyosung Dong Nai Co., Ltd. of Korea Hyosung Group and Hung Nghiep Formosa Co., Ltd., part of Taiwan's Formosa Group with the same amount of import-export tax that each company has paid to the state budget is 776 billion VND. These are companies belonging to multinational corporations, operating in the fields of providing fiber, textile, plastic products, and raw materials in the textile industry such as Spandex, Nylon, and manufacturing car tires…

The enterprise with the third highest import-export tax in the province belongs to Hyosung Vietnam Co., Ltd. (also part of Hyosung Group), with the import-export tax paid to the state budget in 2023 being 630 billion VND. In 4th and 5th place are enterprises with state capital, including: Branch of Petrovietnam Power Corporation - Joint Stock Company - Power Project Management Board with the tax amount paid to the State budget of 450 billion VND and Dong Thap Petroleum Trading Import Export Company Limited with tax payment of 358 billion VND.
Long Thuan Group Joint Stock Company is the leading business in the fields of energy, transportation... in Vietnam and the Southeast Asia region, with an import-export tax contribution to the state budget last year of 306 billion VND, making it the 6th enterprise. on payment of import and export tax of Dong Nai. The 7th position belongs to Nestlé Vietnam Co., Ltd. with a state budget contribution of 304 billion VND. According to company representatives, 2023 brought about many difficulties and challenges. However, the company had implemented many effective programs helping the company achieve the set economic targets. Especially, exports increased by nearly 62%, of which the main product is coffee. In 8th place, Kenda Vietnam Rubber Company in Giang Dien Industrial Park (Trang Bom District), belonging to Taiwan's Kenda Group, had a state budget contribution of 260 billion VND. This is an enterprise operating in the field of tire (wheel tire) production and business in Dong Nai for 26 years.
The last 2 places belong to Tpc Vina Plastic and Chemical Corporation Limited with an amount of 253 billion VND paid to the state budget; and Vietnam Dona Standard Footwear Co., Ltd with 239 billion VND.
It is worth mentioning that among the top 10 businesses that pay state budget for import and export, up to 7 businesses carry out procedures at Nhon Trach Customs (Nhon Trach district). The remaining businesses operate in industrial parks in Bien Hoa City, Trang Bom district and Dong Nai Port Customs Sub-department. The above companies are all in the top 1,000 businesses with the highest state budget payments in Vietnam in the years 2020-2022, and were just honored by the Ministry of Finance in Hanoi at the end of 2023.
