To have goods available for 2005’s Tet

It is foreseen that the quantity of pork to be provided for this year’s Tet will double or triple compared with last year. Commercial companies and cooperatives have in store 5.9 tons of glutinous rice, 35 tons of ordinary and flavoured rice of all kinds, 42 tons of sugar, 6 tons of green beans, 8 tons of candied fruit of all kinds, 916,000 liters of gasoline, 32,000 eggs, 19,000 bottles of fish sauce, 30,600 liters of cooking oil and 6,000 crates of beer and sweet drinks of all kinds.

A number of businesspeople and commercial and tourist cooperative of the service also have in store about VND 22 billion of goods to provide them to the market in case of goods shortage during the Tet. Every where in the province, commercial and tourist cooperative will also organize mobile counters to provide goods to people living in remote area.
