The Preparatory Session of the 9th Dong Nai Party Congress Opens

The 9th Dong Nai Party Congress with the participation of 349 official delegates including 45 already delegates who are the 8th Dong Nai Party Congress members and 304 delegates who are elected from 16 sub-Party organs convened its preparatory session at Dong Nai Convention and Events Center on the morning of September 22.

Congressional participants are voting on several contents of the preparatory session

Member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee and Chairman of Dong Nai People's Council Tran Dinh Thanh, Deputy Secretary of Dong Nai Standing Party Committee and Head of Dong Nai National Assembly Delegation Le Hong Phuong and Deputy Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee and Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Vo Van Mot were elected into the Presidium of the preparatory session.

At the preparatory session, the Congress agreed on its official agenda and working regulations, electing the congressional Presidium, the Secretariat and Delegate’s Behavior Observation Committee, fully grasping the Party’s election regulations, passing the report on the congressional structure and personnel and recommending the personnel into the Executive Board of the 9th Dong Nai Party Committee.

Tomorrow morning, September 23, the Congress officially opens and is expected to come to a close on September 25.

Delegates visit Dong Nai Martyrs Cemetery

Earlier, delegates, the leadership of Dong Nai Party Committee, People’s Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee and the leadership of departments, committees, sectors, districts and Bien Hoa city laid wreaths and burned incense in remembrance of martyrs at Dong Nai Martyrs Cemetery.
