Dong Nai Standing People’s Council Held a Joint Meeting to Agree upon the contents of the 21st Session of Dong Nai People’s Council (7th Term).

Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee and Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Council Tran Dinh Thanh, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Council Huynh Chi Thang, Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Vo Van Mot and Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Cong Ngon chaired the meeting.

The 21st Session is a year-end one required by law.

The 21st Session is aimed at reviewing and assessing the implementation of 2010 socio-economic targets and tasks, national defence and security and 2011 targets and tasks.

In addition, the Session is to evaluate the implementation of 2006-2010 socio-economic plans and 2011-2015 socio-economic directions and tasks.

The 21st Session will take 17 resolutions, including 11 special-subject resolutions into consideration.

The 21st Session is expected to last four days from December 7th to 12th.

Addressing the meeting, Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh concluded that units preparing materials need to work closely together and participants are required to present their reports in a brief and informative way in order that more time for talks would be spent throughout the session.
