Buddhist and Catholic delegations pay a visit and wish Happy New Year to the province leaders

On the occasion of Vietnamese Lunar New year, the year of the water buffalo, On Jan. 19 morning, a delegation of Buddhism led by superior Buddhist monk Thich Minh Chanh and head of the Buddhist Executive Committee of Dongnai province together with a delegation of Catholicism led by priest Dang Van Tu who is the representative of Xuan Loc Bishop’s Office paid a visit and wished happy new year to the provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, Fatherland Front Committee. Attending the meeting, the Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Le Hong Phuong, the Vice-Chairperson of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Van Vinh.

 

The Buddhist delegation wishes Happy New Year to the provincial leaders.

Le Hong Phuong announced these delegations the province’s socio-economic achievements this year, according to him, partly thanks to contribution of religious groups in the province, especially contribution of religious groups in doing social and charity activities, maintaining safety and order, enthusiastically helping each other with business, enhancing cultural life building, preventing and fighting against social evils.

The Vice-Chairperson of the provincial People’s Party Committee called on dignitaries of the Buddhist Executive Committee, Xuan Loc Bishop’s Office to continue to bring into full play their roles of encouragement and call for religious communities to enthusiastically work and be good to others, be united and be unanimous in building civilized ,wealthy country.
