November-2008: the province’s socio-economy retains stable growth rate.

On November 26 afternoon, members of the provincial People’s Committee had a meeting to appraise socio-economy situation of November and early eleven months of 2008. Vo Van Mot-the Chairperson of the provincial People’s Committee presided over the conference.

 

 

As reported by the provincial People’s Committee, the socio-economy situation of the province in November and earlier eleven months has maintained a constant stable growth rate. Particularly, production value in industry in November increased by 2.5% in November compared with the last month and that’s a 20.9% increase in eleven moths; crops cultivated was in 72,011 hectares, fulfilling 97.7% of the plan; export in eleven months increased by 24.6% against the same period last year; import increased 28.2% against the same period last year. Especially, since the early this year until now, the province has got 77 new investment projects, 114 licenses to ask for capital increase, up 81.2% compared with the plan. Activities of culture, society and entertainment have taken place ebulliently across the province, attracting a lot of peoples to join. Health-care, job solution keep on stable. In November, over 7000 labors have been employed.
