According to the Department of Planning and Investment from the beginning of 2016 to March 18th, 2016; provincial FDI reached nearly 490 million USD, almost tripled as much as the same period last year (157 million USD) accounting for 49% of the whole year plan. In which, there are 21 newly invested projects with total capital of 190.5 million USD and 21 existing projects registered to expand capital of 297.4 million USD in total.
There are many existing project registered to expand capital of over 10 million USD each. Most provincial FDI projects are accordant to the provincial FDI attraction guideline and are supporting and hi-tech industries… Besides, there is also diversity of adjustment projects such as transferred capital projects, transformed business type projects, expanded manufacturing and target projects, implementing import and export, supplying and expanding rights…
Up to now, Dong Nai has had 1,577 FDI projects with the total investment capital of over 28.3 billion USD, In which, 1,200 projects are still valid with the total capital of about 24 billion USD.
