Dong Nai currently ranks at number 4 of all provinces nationwide that attract most FDI, counting from the beginning of the year to October 20 according to data of FDI attraction released by Department of Foreign Investment (Ministry of Planning and Investment)
There have been 1,004 valid FDI projects with $20 million of capital in Dong Nai province
Accordingly, Binh Duong is the leading province that attracted the total amount of registered capital of $ 2.171 billion, Hai Phong city ranks second with $ 1.084 billion whereas Dong Nai attracted $ 1.063 billion. As for investing country, Japan is the leading one with $ 5 billion of foreign investment, next on the chart ranks Korea, Singapore and England… The fields of investment, processing and manufacturing industry are leading with the most total number of projects as well as amount of investment capital, way exceeding other fields such as: real estate, construction, accommodation and catering services…
