Socio-economic situations in the first 8 months in 2013

​1. In economy:

- Index of Industrial Production (IIP) increases 7,3% compared to the same period

- Until August 10, 2013, total areas of cultivation in summer-autumn season of the province was 72,236 ha, equal to 96.4% compared to the same period

- Budget collection counted for 62% compared to estimate.

- Export ratio reached 62% of plan, an increase of 5% compared to the same period. Import ratio reached 61% of plan, an increase of 5.4% compared to the same period

- Total retail of goods reached 63% of plan, increase of 14% compared to the same period

- CPI in August 2013 increased 0.6% compared to July 2013 and 5.78% compared to August 2012, 2.28% compared to December 2012. Gold price in August 2013 increased 1.54% compared to July and decreased 16.62% compared to the same period, decreased 20.58% compared to December 2012. Price index of USD in August 2013 increased 0.2% compared to July 2013, 0.85% compared to the same period and 1.005% compared to December 2012

- Transport of goods: goods transportation increased 7.5% in terms of transportation and 7.8% in terms of circulation compared to the same period 

- Transport of passengers: passengers transportation increased 8% in terms of transportation and 8.5% in terms of circulation compared to the same period

- Total capital for investment and development in the territory reached 65% plan, an increase of 22% compared to the same period

- From the beginning of the year until August 15, 2013, total registered capital for new issuance and increase was 786.5 million USD, reaching 87.4% plan, equal 76% of the same period

- Attraction of domestic investment: From the beginning of the year until August 15, 2013, total domestic investment was 10,167 billion dong (27 projects), exceeding 20%  of plan, an increase of 21.3% of the same period

- From the beginning of year until August 15, 2013, total capital of business registration was 6.426 billion dong (including new registration and increased registration), reaching 71.4% plan, equal to 76% compared to the same period, In which 1,288 new enterprises with total registered business capital of 4,273 billion dong and 118 turns of supplementary registration with capital of 2,153 billion dong

2. In terms of culture and society:

- Continuing the communication of resolutions of province, organizing culture, sports and tourism activities in public occasions to meet enjoyment demand of people.

- Organizing vocational competition at secondary school and high school, approving results of enrollment to grade 10 in school year 2013-2014, re-marking the enrollment to grade 10, organizing enrollment committee of provincial boarding school for ethnic students; reviewing students at trial of English at grade 6 and 10 

- Well implementing disease prevention and protection in the province, implementing health check up and treatment to children under 6 years old, to subjects with health insurance and the poor

- Creating jobs for 9,123 people in August 2013, 69,908 jobs were created in seven months, counting 77.7% plan, an increase of 1% compared to the same period

Poverty reduction: lending 5 billion don to 335 poor families

- Submitting to provincial people’s Committee the plan for enrollment of public employees, competition for increasing scale on computers in 2013, guiding agencies, units and localities to summarize and report training results from 2011 to 2013 and register training demand from 2011-2013.
