Nhon Trach district committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front takes lead in poverty aid

Many roads in the district are asphalted.

 Nhon Trach district (Dong Nai province) has to date constructed 712 charity houses with total expenditure of over VND 4 billion. These houses has been already handed over to the poor throughout the district. Funding sources for the construction of houses of charity in Nhon Trach district were mobilized by the district organizations such as the district’s Labor Federation, the district Red Cross Chapter and the district Women’s Union etc. Cash donations from domestic and foreign investors around the district funded construction of charity houses for the poor. Besides, the district standing committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front continues to mobilize all resources and utilize financial funding sources for providing assistance to local poor people. The district also provides financial aid to the poor in developing their production with the aim of helping them eradicate poverty and raise their living standards. Nhon Trach also takes care of the elderly who live alone and provides subsidies for them. 

The district’s road is mostly asphalted today. During the past 10 years, Nhon Trach has mobilized donations from local people to fund the construction of new classrooms or repairing damaged schools and purchasing teaching aids for schools around the district etc.

Until now, Nhon Trach has built 387 houses of gratitude for over 200 policy beneficiaries’ families and taken care of all heroic mothers for their whole life in the district. Currently, the families of policy beneficiaries in Nhon Trach have a stable life.

Recently, the district’s Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has received State-awarded third-grade Labor Medal on the occasion of 75th anniversary of the Vietnam National United Front. Nhon Trach district deserves this great honor.
