The provincial Party Executive Board session 8th (term 2005-2010) organizes second conference.

The conference aims to review the implementation of the resolution issued by provincial Party Committee session 7^th and 2005’s targets and duties, approved the provincial Party Committee resolutions and working programs of the executive board for 2006.

Delivering a speech at the opening of the conference, the secretary of the provincial Party Committee said 2005 so success and achievements in politics and socioeconomic developments, especially the success of the provincial Party Congress session 8^th. However, shortcomings still remain. The conference should make clear causes to the remaining shortcomings to find out solutions and promote socioeconomic developments in the province in this year.

Mr. Vo Van Mot, chairperson of the provincial People’s Committee presided over a report on provincial socioeconomic development and national defense in 2005 and orientation targets and duties for 2006. Basing on the experience for management in 2005, the provincial People’s Committee proposed feasible measures so that GDP will increase from 14% to 14.5%, GDP per character will reach 874 USD, implemented investment will reach 13,800 billion VND accounting for at least 40% of GDP, foreign investment will reach 715 million USD, and domestic investment over 3,300 billion VND. Leaders of the provincial People’s Committee, departments and functional agencies also took this chance to make report on major tasks to be done in the coming time.
