At 11 am of May 29, “Viet Nam Torch follows Uncle Ho’s foot steps” delegation arrived in Dong Nai. Receiving the delegation were Mr. Le Hong Quan, Deputy Secretary of provincial standing Party Committee, Mr. Vo Van Mot, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee, representatives form provincial departments and organizations, armed forces, members of the Provincial Youth League and the people from all walks of life.

Mr. Le Hong Quan, Deputy Secretary of provincial standing party committee, received the torch, which was light at Pac Bo cave and traveling through many provinces and cities, to fire the big incense-burner in front of the main shrine of Tran Bien Temple of Culture. Speaking at the welcoming ceremony, Mr. Vo Van Mot, Chairman of the Provincial Peoples’ Committee, assured that Dong Nai Party Committee and people believed the torch would light the revolutionary tradition of Dong Nai province. He added that together with the whole country, Dong Nai would wholeheartedly and forever follow Uncle’s ideology as to make Viet Nam become a prosperous, just, democratic and civilized country.

In the evening of the same day, a performance was showed in the provincial gym stadium in order to welcome the delegation. And at 6.30 of the next day May 30, the delegation will continue its journey to the western cities and provinces as to arrive in Ho Chi Minh City on June 5 when 94 years ago Uncle Ho had began his journey to find solutions for liberating our country from French Colony.
