The face of Xuan Loc is changing rapidly |
The district party committee decided that Xuan Loc district’s the economic structure would be shifted toward a higher share of industry and construction that realized the new breakthrough in social economic development. Especially, the boom in the industry with home craft businesses in Xuan Loc district in 2004-2005 showed itself in the 26.4 % year-on-year increase of the production. There was a twofold increase compared to previous years. To date, Xuan Loc district has over 1,100 industrial and homecraft enterprises with total investment amounting to over VND 44 billion. The number of these enterprises now is 173 higher than that of 2001. Particularly, food and agricultural product processing enterprises accounted for 98% of the whole industrial sector within Xuan Loc district. Capacity use in the industry-construction sector reached 19.81% up from 11.3%.
Presently, Sonadezi Company is investing in building infrastructure of Xuan Loc district’s industrial zone which covers 93 hectares. Besides, the district encourages more new establishments in field of industry and home craft sectors which are concentrated in industrial areas.
Xuan Loc district offers preferential policies to lure investment. Therefore, investors both inside and outside Dong Nai province will enjoy many preferential policies if they invest in the district’s industrial parks. In addition, the district provides infrastructure support such as road, water and power supply facilities enabling all investors to operate in the district. For industry and construction sectors continue serving as an engine of growth in the coming years. Xuan Loc district will be able to boost and develop wealth in the next 5 years
