Meeting to Celebrate the World’s Population Day

    With the message of the World Population Day this year “Responding to the Economic Crisis: Investing in Women is a Smart Choice”, Ministry of Health and UN in Vietnam call for investing in women’s healthcare and  ensuring to meet the Millennium Development Goals in the face of the global economic recession. We have to make common efforts to rise women’s role and enable all women to access Reproductive Health by 2015.

    Addressing the meeting, he noted that  production healthcare services play a key role in protecting women’s, parents’ and babies’ health. Everyone should give them priority to be cared for Reproductive Health.

    At the meeting, more than 70 specialist cadres on population and family planning with remarkable achievements in the 2009-operation of family planning were given certificates of merit by the provincial People Committee.
