Dong Nai Museum Held the Exhibition entitled “Fifty-four Ethnic Groups, One Origin”

On April 22 morning, the exhibition entitled “Fifty-four ethnic groups, One origin” opened in Dong Nai Museum. This is realistic activity held to celebrate Day of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups’ Culture and the 34th year anniversary of South Vietnam Liberation (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2008)

Works at the exhibition

    The exhibition displayed 160 images and 45 objects related to 54 ethnic groups all around the country, including those which demonstrated cultural and traditional features of material and spiritual life of 22 ethnic minority groups living across Dong Nai province, especially 4 main native groups such as Ma, Choro, Ko Ho, S’Tieng.

    It is a chance for public to get to know about traditional cultural characters of Vietnamese ethnic groups during the melting pot of great cultures in Asia. These characters have unity but variety in which patriotic tradition, solidarity in survival fighting, and country construction and country defense are typical.

    The exhibition lasts until July 30, 2009.
